2 hurt in Dupont-Avoca crash

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash just  before 10 p.m. tonight on state Route 315 near the Dupont-Avoca border.

Emergency personnel were not sure whether the crash actually occurred in the borough of Dupont or in the borough of Avoca.

Dupont Firefighter David Donnora said four people were involved in the crash and two of them were transported to a hospital.

One of the two injured - a female - was extricated from a vehicle by firefighters.

Initial reports that a tour bus was involved in the crash were incorrect, Donnora said.
