Area woman recognized for ongoing support

The Italian American Veterans (IAV) of Luzerne County Post 1 recently presented a certificate of appreciation to SueAnn Moses, Wilkes-Barre, for her outstanding support of area veterans. She is a chairperson of the board of trustees of St. Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Wilkes-Barre. Moses and the church's youth organization hosted an annual Veterans Day breakfast for the Italian American veterans and parish veterans. She has also sponsored several Saturday morning coffee and donut hours at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in honor of her late father, Leo ‘Brady' Moses, a World War II veteran.
