Barbershoppers will present concert

A ‚??Songs of Christmas‚?Ě concert will be held by the Wyoming Valley Barbershop Harmony Chorus at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, atthe Shavertown United Methodist Church, Pioneer Avenue.

The chorus will be under the direction of Raymond Patsko, of Wilkes-Barre, and assistant director Gene Kelleher, of Dallas.

Also appearing will be ‚??Three Friends and a Baritone‚?Ě quartet, featuring Jim Morpeth, of Wilkes-Barre, tenor; Ted Rebennack, of Shavertown, bass; Kelleher, lead; and Patsko, baritone.

The concert will benefit the Back Mountain Men‚??s Ecumenical Group. Tickets to the performance are $5 each and are available from chapter members, members of the Back Mountain Men‚??s Ecumenical Group, by calling 696-3385 or 287-2476 and at the door.
