BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Bills have announced that owner Ralph Wilson has been taken to a hospital and is listed in good condition.

Bills spokesman Scott Berchtold was unable provide further information or where Wilson was hospitalized. The 93-year-old Hall of Fame owner usually spends his summers at his home in suburban Detroit.

Wilson had hip surgery in spring 2011, and his health has been slipping. Having difficulty traveling, he attended only one Bills home game last season.

Wilson was healthy enough to attend the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony festivities earlier this month to open a new research and preservation center named in his honor.

By coincidence, the Bills were in Detroit on Thursday to play their final preseason game against the Lions.
