Boil water advisory lifted in Mocanaqua

MOCANAQUA -- Pennsylvania American Water customers in Mocanaqua no longer have to boil their water before use.

Acceptable bacteria test results were obtained from samples collected on Monday and Tuesday, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting of the precautionary advisory.

The boil advisory was issued Monday due to malfunctioning signal equipment at a storage tank.
