EXETER – John Bolin was elected president during the Wyoming Area School Board's reorganizational meeting Tuesday night.
The board elected Deanna Farrell as vice president; John Marianacci, secretary, and Frank Casarella, treasurer.
Jarrett Ferentino will remain the district's solicitor.
Board members named Gil Dominick as Pennsylvania School Boards Association liaison and John Marianacci as representative to the West Side Career and Technology Center.
As newly elected president of the board, Bolin tabled appointment of committee chairpersons, saying the chairs would be named in the near future.
Board member Mary Louise Degnan said she looked forward to slow progressive change.
In these financially challenging times, it is this board's job to work together, said Farrell.
The next year will be a critical year in this district's history.
The board will hold both its work session and regular meeting on Dec. 18, beginning at 7 p.m.
