Electric City Baseball & Softball Academy will host its annual Winter Skills Baseball Camp at Riverfront Sports in Scranton on Saturdays, Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Maximum Impact will be having baseball hitting & pitching every Saturday. Pitching Ages 7-9 from 1 – 2 p.m. & Ages 10-12 from 3 – 4 p.m. Hitting Ages 7-9 from 2 – 3 p.m. & Ages 10-12 from 4 – 5 p.m. Every Sunday we will have an Advance softball hitting clinic from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Cost for each player is $15! LEAGUES


 



Community Winter Sunday Basketball League for school teams will begin play on Sunday, Dec 2. There are two divisions, one for grade 5-6 boys and one for grade 5-6 girls. Berwick Boys Basketball Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the lobby of the gymnasium.



Crestwood Boys Basketball Booster Club will have its next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Cavanaugh's Grille.

6th Grade Boys Basketball is currently looking for teams for a tournament being held at the Hazleton YMCA Dec. 7-9. Please call Ken Ednie at 459-2873 for further details.

Crestwood Boys Basketball Booster Club will hold a Meet the Players Night at 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the high school gym. After introductions, players will participate in games and competitions.



Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will be holding their third annual Pens & Pins Charity Bowling Tournament on Sunday, Dec 2 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Chacko's Family Bowling Center in Wilkes-Barre. Penguins players and coaches will be chosen randomly to captain teams of fans in a two-game format. Registration fee is $50 per person or $200 for a team of five and includes two games of bowling, free shoe rental, pizza and soda and a commemorative 2012 Pens & Pins T-shirt. All proceeds go to support Allied Services Integrated Health Services. Fans can register by calling the Penguins at (570) 208-PENS. /
