SCRANTON – A former Hanover Township man was sentenced Friday to 10 years in federal prison for distributing heroin.
U.S. District Judge James Munley imposed the sentence on Richard Chamberlain, 38.
Chamberlain was indicted in November 2011 on charges he participated in a conspiracy to distribute heroin in Luzerne County. He was indicted following an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Luzerne County Drug Task Force, and the Kingston and Hanover police departments.
