Cougars unable to complete rally

DALLAS – Misericordia's second-half rally attempt fell just short as Susquehanna's women's basketball team earned a 58-56 win at Misericordia.

Lauren Smicherko led the Cougars with 15 points, notching four steals along the way, while Hanna Seely added 14 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Juniata 78, Wilkes 43

Wilkes was led by Megan Kazmerski's 11 points in the non-conference loss to Juniata.

Kazmerski now sits one point shy of 1,000 for her career. Elena Stambone contributed 10 points and seven rebounds for the Colonels.

Albright 68, Misericordia 48

Albright took over in the second half and Misericordia couldn't keep up in a loss at Albright.

Matt Greene's 14 points led the Cougars, Justin Grotevant added 13.
