NEW YORK -- Regan Rome of Dallas High School finished fourth at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships Northeast Regional in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Saturday.
With the effort (she finished in 18:14), she qualified for the national championships to be held in San Diego, Calif., on Dec. 8.
She is the first Dallas runner since Steve Oliver from the 1990s who went and placed in the top 10.
Misericordia fell to Centenary in non-conference action.
Matt Greene had 22 points and added six assists, while Steve Ware posted a double-double with career-highs of 20 points and 10 rebounds.
