At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Dallas, the theme for the evening was raising funds and food to help the Back Mountain Food Pantry meet the needs of dozens of families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. A mini-auction was held followed by a raffle. More than $600 was raised and more than 300 pounds of food was donated. At the event, from left: George Bacon, treasurer; Kate Pitkat; Kris Reitz; Sandy Peoples, event chairperson; Todd Buckley, president; Ann Marie Konek; and Randy Loyd, secretary.
