Kaitlyn Miller, Swoyersville, and Maria Cinti, Plains Township, recently received the ‘Double D' award at the Talent Olympics held at the Fernwood Hotel and Resort in the Poconos. The award is given to the duo partners with the four highest scoring numbers in the entire competition. This is the fourth consecutive year the dancers have won the award. The duo competed in the 16-and-up age category and won first place for their jazz, tap, pantomime and lyrical routines. Both girls have been dancing for 15 years at the David Blight School of Dance Studio, Wilkes-Barre. They are instructed by Candice Miscavage and Chrissy Howe. The girls will be graduating this year and will perform their senior dance at the David Blight recital in June at the Wyoming Valley West High School. From left are Miller and Cinti.
