Duo leads PA shutout of Hawkeyes

PITTSTON TWP. – Dana Maurizi and Atana Platukus each scored one goal as Pittston Area shutout Hanover Area, 2-0 on Friday Wyoming Valley Conference field hockey action.

Liz McKitish contributed with an assist.

Hanover Area's effort was led by keeper Tiffany McCarey's eight saves in the net.
