Several members of the Wright Township Volunteer Fire Department came to St. Jude School to celebrate Fire Prevention Week with the pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes. They spoke to the students about the tools they use, clothing they wear, having a safe place for family members to meet in case of a fire, the stop, drop and roll rule, the importance of smoke detectors, campfire safety and more. All students received complimentary firefighter hats.
