SCRANTON - Former Holy Redeemer football coach Joseph Ostrowski pleaded guilty today to charges of attempting to produce child pornography, extortion and cyber stalking.

Ostrowski, 29, of Wilkes-Barre, faces 25 years in prison under the terms of a plea agreement with the U.S. Attorneyâ??s office.

Prosecutors said Ostrowski enticed numerous people, including minors, from at least 15 states to engage in sexually explicit behavior over the internet. He recorded the acts, then threatened to distribute the recordings to others if the victims did not send him more nude photos.

Ostrowski entered the plea before Senior U.S. District Judge Edwin Kosik. No sentencing date has been set.
