Forty Fort High School Class of 1962 recently celebrated its 50th anniversary reunion at the Apple Tree Terrace, Newberry Estates, Dallas. The evening dinner program included an invocation by Nancy Learn Dietterick followed by Charles Attardo, master of ceremonies, and Edward Whitson, speaker. Reunion activities began on Thursday evening with an ice breaker held in the back yard of Sharon Layton Harvey's home in Forty Fort. Other activities included a tour of the Forty Fort Meeting House, where an historical presentation was given by Nancy Lycos, a member of the Friends of the Meeting House. The classmates also enjoyed a tour of the cemetery. After the tour, classmates gathered for a Dutch-treat lunch at Bo Bros, Wyoming. A farewell brunch was held on Saturday at the Old Country Buffet, Wilkes-Barre.
