Foster grandparents honored at luncheon

Six foster grandparents were honored for 10 years of service to the Foster Grandparent Program at the 40th annual recognition luncheon. Honorees received an engraved mantle clock. Foster Grandparents are individuals age 55 or older that have a limited income and a desire to work with children. For 20 hours per week of service they are entitled to many benefits including monetary compensation. The program is in need of new participants.
