The Greater Nanticoke Area School District Pre-K Counts classes are holding a Hop-A-Thon on Nov. 9 to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The children will learn about muscles and muscular disabilities in lessons during the week and then participate together in a hopping session for a timed two-minute period. The preschoolers ask the public to make donations in support of the two-minute hopping challenge. Pledges can be made in any amount per hop or can be a flat donation. Anyone interested in supporting the Hop-A-Thon can make a pledge by contacting the preschool at 735-0935 or fcenter@gnasd.com or to the children's parents. Members of the afternoon Pre-K Counts class, from left, first row, are Brody Tronsue, Jenna, Sophia Blockus, David Meck, Liam McGovern, Christina Cingolani, Ronald Nesbitt and Jackson Hull. Second row: Makayla Corkell, Brian Smith, Kaitlyn Brudnicki, Preston Zadzura and Sophia Zadzura. Third row: Mason Schmidt, Robert Huffman, Sophia Shea, Dylan Ball, Jennifer Guskiewicz and Daniel Price.
