Reprise Records�?? multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning Green Day today announced they would return to the road in 2013 but would be canceling their tour date in Wilkes-Barre, PA which was originally scheduled for Jan. 10 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.

�??We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,�?� said the members of Green Day. �??We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.�?�

Tickets for shows that had been postponed will be honored at new dates that have just been announced �?? including an SLP Concerts event with the band in Pittsburgh at the Consol Energy Center, now scheduled for March 31.

For those fans who purchased tickets for the Wilkes-Barre date that is now canceled, refunds will be given at original point of purchase. Fans that purchased tickets over the phone or online via Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically.
