The Hanover Township Lions recently removed 40 overgrown Christmas trees at the crossroads and replaced them with 40 eight-foot Siberian spruce trees. Members also erected 80 sponsor signs for the Christmas holidays and the Lions Leo Club members put the lights on all 40 trees. The lights were turned on Thanksgiving night and will remain on until Jan. 7. Lions members, from left, first row: Bernard Mozloom; Frank Ciavarella Jr., president; Len Narcum; Paul Rose; and Jack Wilkins. Second row: Harry Besecker, Larry Mahalley, Vince Mooney, Michael Kowalick, Tom Hudak, Tom Landon and John Sipper. Also participating was Lion Joseph Sweeney.
