Attorney Thomas P. Brennan was presented the W-BLLA President's Award, the highest recognition that any lawyer or judge can receive in Luzerne County. It is only awarded to those who exemplify the true nature of the profession as being a noble profession, learned craft, and positive force in the lives of members of the community. Brennan is a graduate of Maryknoll College (Seminary) and King's College. He attended Villanova University School of Law, served in the military, where he was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, then received his Juris Doctorate from Villanova.
Borton-Lawson employees attained their Professional Engineering license. Recently licensed individuals include Louis Spaciano, P.E., transportation engineer; Eric Dudkowski, P.E., transportation engineer; David Murosky, P.E., transportation engineer, all from the Wilkes-Barre office; Charles Stajewski, P.E., structural engineer; and Matthew Neiman, P.E., transportation engineer, both from the State College office. The test for the P.E. license can be taken four years after attaining engineer-in-training status.
