MOUNTAIN TOP: The Crestwood Marching Band and Band Parents Association are taking orders for citrus fruit until Oct. 31. The fruit comes from Indian River Groves in Vero Beach, Fla. Available for order are 10- and 20-pound boxes of navel oranges, grapefruit or tangelos. Cost is $18 and $25 per box. An orange/grapefruit mix is $19 and $26 and mixed boxes of 36 pieces are $35. Delivery will be in mid-December. Orders can be placed with any band member or by calling Lisa Karchin 991-2222.

SCRANTON: A meeting to plan the ninth annual Ukrainian New Year dinner dance, Malanka, will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday at St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church, North Main Avenue and Howell Street.

The Northeastern Pennsylvania community's Malanka will take place on Jan. 11, 2013, at St. Vladimir Parish Center, North Seventh Avenue, Scranton. For more information call 563-2275.
