The Alliance Medical Group will be conducting a free What's That Pain in My Stomach educational program from 6-7 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Hazleton Health & Wellness Center, 50 Moisey Drive in Hazleton.
Dr. Robert Yamulla, from Alliance Medical Group Gastroenterology, will discuss the symptoms and treatment options for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, Crohn's disease, heartburn and acid reflux, and colorectal cancer.

Two four-week Dining With Diabetes programs will be held. Programs will be held Tuesdays starting Jan. 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. with a follow-up class on April 2 at The Wright Center, 5 South Washington Ave., Jermyn or on Fridays starting Jan. 11 from 10 a.m.-noon with a follow-up class on April 5 at the Penn State Extension Meeting Room, 200 Adams Ave., Lower Level, Scranton.
Informational sessions for those who want to learn more about the program prior to registering will be held Jan. 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Penn State Extension Meeting Room and Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. at The Wright Center.
