St. Jude School, Mountain Top, recently installed officers of the National Junior Honor Society for the 2012-2013 school year. The members are divided into scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, character and fundraising committees. Some of the activities they will be participating in this year are collecting for the Little Sisters of the Poor, working at the St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen, decorating the school for the Advent season, fundraising for a scholarship fund, assisting with open house, and sharing a character-based quote of the week during school announcements. At the event, from left: Eileen Kempinski, moderator; Rachel Jones, president; Gigi Alberti, vice president; Makenzie Savner, secretary; Morghan Murphy, treasurer; and Jeanne Rossi, principal.
