The Kiwanis K-Kids at Third Avenue Elementary School, Kingston, made educational toys to be donated to Maternal and Family Health Services for the Nurse-Family Partnership Program. The Nurse-Family Partnership is an evidence-based nurse home visitation program that guides at-risk, first-time mothers through pregnancy and provides support during the critical first two years of a child's life. The K-Kids crafted educational toys for toddlers, including shapes made out of felt, color matching games and card games. Kiwanis K-Kids, from left, first row, are Courtney May, Mason Matlowski, Kenidee Bellio, Jared Haines, Hunter Borgstadt and Michaela Holmstrom. Second row: Ryan Messersmith, Colin Uter, Logan Parry, Alicia Pacheco, Chloe Pischak, Hunter Austra and Conner Uter.
