The Coaches: Lehman's Jerry Gilsky (18-11, 3rd year); Hanover Area's Ron Hummer (34-41, 7th year)
Last Meeting: Lehman 42-7 in 2011
All-Time Series: Series tied 22-22
Quick Fact: Hanover Area had won nine of the last 10 meetings before the Black Knights' 42-7 win last year.
Scouting Lehman: The Black Knights snapped a two-game losing streak with a 46-14 victory over Nanticoke last Friday. The game was close until WB Brady Butler scored on a pair of runs after the midway part of the third quarter.
RB Dustin Jones moved closer to the 1,000-yard mark with 131 rushing yards. WB John Van Scoy also scored two touchdowns as the running game went over 300 yards for the third time this season.
The defense continued to be strong versus the run and is allowing just 85.5 yards rushing per game.
Scouting Hanover Area: The Hawks lost their 10th in a row, falling 47-37 to Holy Redeemer. They trailed 39-7 early in the third quarter.
Hanover Area had its best rushing game of the season, piling up 335 yards behind QB Casey O'Mack (151) and RBs Brian Belcher (91) and Ya'Sir Jones (76).
The defense, though, surrendered 488 yards and five TDs through the air and is still having problems stopping opponents via pass or run.
What To Expect: Lehman is clinging to second place in the District 2 Class 2A standings. Can't envision the Black Knights slipping up tonight.
