Landmark Community Bank recently presented Misericordia University with a check from funds made available in 2012 by the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program that earmarks funding for educational improvement programs. The funds will be used by the college's Speech-Language and Hearing Center to provide innovative educational programs for public school students in kindergarten through third grade.
