The Tunkhannock Lions, Lake Winola Lioness and other Lions family and friends recently collected toys for the Wyoming County Interfaith. Everyone enjoyed a home-cooked, chicken and biscuit dinner and collected a large number of new toys for Interfaith Friends. The Tunkhannock Lions Club also collects used eyeglasses and hearing aides for several local eye doctors. With some of the toys, from left, first row, are Kaleigh, Lily and Emma, granddaughters of members of the Tunkhannock Lions. Second row: William Metchulat, district governor 14-H; Dale Wilsey, secretary, Tunkhannock Lions; Alisha Myers, secretary-bookkeeper, Interfaith; Sue Toth, president, Lake Winola Lioness; Harold ‘Butch' Sands, past district governor; Jeannie Schwartz and Ellie Dougherty, Lioness members; and Joseph Skinner, second vice-district governor.
