Marilyn Smith to celebrate 80th birthday

Marilyn Smith, Chase Manor, Shavertown, will celebrate her 80th birthday on Nov. 15, 2012.

She is the daughter of the late Calvin and Augusta Smith, Forty Fort and Shavertown.

Marilyn graduated from Meyers High School. She retired from Bell Telephone Company, where she was employed as an operator and supervisor for over 30 years.

Marilyn was married to the late Lee Smith. She is a member of the Trucksville United Methodist Church.

She enjoys reading and she and her husband danced for many years with the Circle Eighters Square Dance Club. She was a devoted care giver to her late mother Gussie.

Her dog Heidi is the love of her life. She has one godchild, April Eckert, and many nieces and nephews.

A family birthday party is planned for Nov. 17.
