'Miracle on the Hudson' survivor to speak in Exeter

The event will begin with Mass at 4 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter, followed by the banquet at 5 p.m. in the parish center located adjacent to the church.
Berretta was one of the survivors of the ill-fated US Airways Flight 1549, which had to make an emergency landing in the Hudson River shortly after departure from New Yorkâ??s La Guardia Airport on Jan. 15, 2009. He will recount the harrowing experience and how it became a life-changing event.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet fellow listeners and supporters of JMJ Catholic Radio, and also to discuss programming and share ideas with the stationâ??s executive board members: St. Joseph Oblate Father Paul McDonnell, Father Leo McKernan, and station owners, Ed and Carol Niewinski.
