Mountain Top Knights sponsors substance abuse awareness poster contest

The Mountain Top Knights of Columbus Council 6440 recently sponsored its annual substance abuse awareness poster contest for students ages 8 through 14. Ten first-place certificates were awarded at St. Jude School. Morghan Murphy and Makenzie Savner also earned $25 gift certificates from Barnes and Noble for their efforts. Their posters will be submitted to the regional competition. Some of the participants, from left, first row, are Savner, Rachel Rinehimer, Sarah Thomas, Katie Wills and Murphy.
