The NE PA Music Teachers Association recently presented honors recitals at Wilkes University Gies Recital Hall, Wilkes-Barre, featuring students who qualified at preliminary auditions held at Marywood University, Scranton. The events are part of the Sutton Festival, an annual audition which includes being judged on a memorized performance and taking a written theory test to qualify to perform at the honors recitals. Performers received certificates and medals.
