Names and Faces

Tegan Ostroski, daughter of Rick and Chris Ostroski, Shavertown, recently competed at the Performing Arts Alliance Contest of Champions dance competition in King of Prussia, where she was named Grand Champion Model ages 8-9. Ostroski also won Tops in Modeling ages 8-9; three Tops in Duo Tap, Duo Ethnic and Duo Specialty categories ages 8-9; and Tops in Trio Tap ages 8-9. She is a member of the dance groups Sugar and Encore, which earned a total of four Tops in Tap, Specialty and Pantomime categories. Sugar was also named Grand Champion Line Tap in the 8-9 age division and was awarded $1,000. Ostroski is a dance student under the direction of Robert and Kristine Oberst, owners and directors of the Back Mountain Dance Studio, Dallas.
