City police and paramedics responded to Stelma's house at 247 Horton St. for a report of a fall victim on Dec. 29. A neighbor said at the time that police led a man out of the house in handcuffs.
The man was later identified as Stelma's son, Mark J. Stelma, 44, who was jailed on outstanding warrants for non-payment of fines related to allowing his dogs to run loose.
Stelma died Jan. 17 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township.
Forensic pathologist Dr. Gary Ross concluded Monday that Stelma died of natural causes.
