EDWARDSVILLE: The Edwardsville Senior Center is holding blood pressure screenings on Wednesday and a representative from Allied Services will provide stroke rehabilitation at 11 a.m.
There will be a special lunch to celebrate National Senior Citizens Day on Aug. 21.
A staff member from State Rep. Gerald Mullery's office will visit from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 23. Lunch will be a salad bar.
An ice cream social will be held on Aug. 29.
EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors, a Project Head Club, will meet at 1 p.m. on Aug. 21 in St. Anthony's Center. Hosts and hostesses are Toni Hall, Joe Kleback, Connie Lahart, Tom Lahart and Tony Matreselva.

FALLS: The Falls Senior Center, State Route 92, is hosting a representative from the Alzheimer's Association at 11:15 a.m. today. The 10 warning signs of Alzheimer's disease will be discussed.
Members are traveling to Creekside Gardens at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday to see the butterfly house. Cost is $3.
Creative Personality Hat Day will be held on Aug. 21. A prize will be awarded for the most original hat.
JENKINS TWP.: The Jenkins Township Senior Citizens will meet at 6:30 tonight at the Jenkins Township Fire House. The annual ice cream social will be held. President Jean Mudlock will preside. New members are welcome.
KINGSTON: The Kingston Senior Center, 680 Wyoming Ave., is starting its new class "Belly Dancing for Fun and Fitness," for anyone 55 years of age and older, at 12:45 p.m. today. Representatives from Heinz Rehab of Allied Services will give a presentation on the importance of immunization at 11 a.m. today.
State Sen. Lisa Baker will visit the center at noon on Thursday to speak about topics relating to the senior population.
The center will celebrate National Senior Citizens Day on Aug. 21 with special entertainment by George Rittenhouse at noon.
The center is offering the AARP Driver Safety class. A refresher class will be given from 1-5 p.m. on Sept. 17. The eight-hour class for new students will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling 287-1102.
NANTICOKE: Rose Tucker Center, 128 W. Washington St., will present a discussion on diabetes and arthritis sponsored by Medical Dynamics at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Representatives from Special Care Hospital Dietary Services will be available at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday to discuss food and drug interactions.
A discussion and demonstration on martial arts will be presented by Master Richard Dixon at 10 a.m. on Friday.

At the last meeting members enjoyed an ice cream social. Guest speakers were Lieutenant Richard Lussi and Officer Dan Lewis who spoke about the Crime Watch Night Out.
WILKES-BARRE TWP.: The RCA Nipper Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Old Country Buffet, East End Center. New members welcome. A trip to a casino is being planned for October.
