EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors will gather at 1 p.m. today at St. Anthony Center for a Halloween party and a hoagie luncheon.


At the previous meeting, congratulations were extended to Terri and George Mislan on their 47th wedding anniversary and to Antoinette Manganello on her 90th birthday. Frances Voveris won the special game prize and the bingo jackpot was shared by Theresa Blasavage and Florence Stankoski. Fifty-fifty winners were Mary Coleman, Virginia, Craig, Shari Dailey, Joe Kleback and Kathy Loucks. A Columbus Day basket of Italian food items was won by Sharon McAdarra.


The Christmas party is scheduled for Dec. 4. Speakers and entertainers are needed. Contact Vic at 655-2720.


Travel coordinator Johanna is accepting reservations for a trip to Mount Airy Casino on Wednesday. Pick ups will be in Exeter and Pittston. Non-members welcome on trips. For details, call Johanna at 655-2720.


SWOYERSVILLE: The Swoyersville Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Social Hall.


Winners of the 50-50 fundraiser were JoAnn Baker, Helen Kewak and Liz Zdancewicz. New members are welcome.


WILKES-BARRE: The Charles T. Adams Senior Center, 5 E. Market St., offers free coffee and tea all day for persons 60 years of age and older.


The center is looking for participants in the Pokeno games which are held at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


WILKES-BARRE: The Father Nahas Senior Citizens Club will hold its Christmas party on Dec. 11 at Vanderlyn's Restaurant, Kingston.


Regular club meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the church hall of St. Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 S. Main Street.
