EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors and their guests recently gathered for a Christmas party at St. Anthony's Center. All members and guests received gifts from Santa donated by local merchants and the committee.


Travel coordinator Johanna is accepting reservations for a trip to Mount Airy Casino on Jan. 9, 2013. Pick ups will be in Exeter and Pittston. Call 655-2720 for details.


KINGSTON: Members from the Kingston Senior Center, 680 Wyoming Ave., are going to the Laurels Health and Rehab Center at 2 p.m. today for Christmas caroling.


The holiday special luncheon will be held on Wednesday. Musical entertainment will be provided by Tom Bergamino.


The center will be closed for the holiday on Dec. 25 and a special New Year's luncheon will be held on Dec. 29.


PLAINS TWP.: The Plains Senior Citizens will not have a regular meeting in December because of the holiday. The next regular meeting will be held on Jan. 9, 2013. Barbara Silvi will be in charge of collecting dues, which should be paid at this meeting.


Hosts and hostesses for the January meeting are Mary Drew, Sunny Dudeck, Donald Emerick, Marge Evans, Jennie Figel and Sadie Guerra. Hosts and hostesses should be at the cafeteria by 11:30 a.m. to set up refreshments.


WILKES-BARRE: The Tequila Rose Chapter of The Red Hat Society held its Christmas party Dec. 3 at Riverside Grill. All 16 members attended and grab gifts were distributed by Darlene Circo, chairperson, and Betty A. Herbert, assistant.


There will be no regular meeting in December.
