News for Veterans

SWOYERSVILLE: The Andrew Lawrence American Legion Post 644 will hold its auxiliary meeting at 6 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the post home, 259 Shoemaker Street. Weather permitting. All auxiliary members are urged to attend.

WILKES-BARRE: The Italian American Veterans of Luzerne County Post 1 will meet on Feb. 7 at St. Mary's Orthodox Church hall, 905 S. Main Street. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Nominations of officers will be held and plans for the Commander's Ball will be discussed. Dues for 2013 are now due.
