Oscar nominations announced for supporting actress

(AP) The 85th annual Academy Award nominations for supporting actress in a motion picture have been announced in Beverly Hills, Calif., by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The nominees announced Thursday morning are: Amy Adams, The Master; Sally Field, Lincoln; Anne Hathaway, Les Miserables; Helen Hunt, The Sessions; Jacki Weaver, Silver Linings Playbook.

The Oscars will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Seth MacFarlane and airing live on ABC.
