HANOVER TWP. – Two people wanted in Florida were apprehended Monday by township police who were investigating a theft at Gerrity's Family Market on the Sans Souci Parkway.
Robert Kennedy, 30, of Wilkes-Barre, and Courtney Davis, 28, of High Street, Hanover Township, were jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on fugitive from justice warrants in Volusia County, Fla.
Police said Kennedy and Davis were fighting with security at Gerrity's. A records check showed Kennedy and Davis were wanted in Florida, police said.
Davis was also wanted on an arrest warrant by a Luzerne County judge for allegedly failing to appear in court on an unrelated charge of providing a false name to township police in July, according to court records.
Kennedy was also charged on an unrelated drug charge by township police in July.
