HANOVER TWP. – State police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported the following:
• Four Hundred Club of Nanticoke, 1211 S. Prospect St., was recently cited with possession or operating gambling devices or permitted gambling or lotteries.
• American Legion Shawnee Post 463, 33 Center Ave., Plymouth, was recently cited with possession or operating gambling devices or permitted gambling or lotteries.
• William E. Sukadelski, doing business as Bill's Sports Bar, 53 Brown St., Wilkes-Barre, was recently cited with possession or operating gambling devices or permitted gambling or lotteries.
• American Legion Newport Township Post 539, 62 Newport St., Glen Lyon, was recently cited with possession or operating gambling devices or permitted gambling or lotteries.
• Enforcement statistics for January: complaints received, 125; visits to licensed establishments, 339; age compliance checks, 19; licensed establishments that sold alcohol to underage buyer, 10; administrative citations, 106; warnings, 28; seized 19 liters of liquor and 2 gallons of beer.
PLAINS TWP. – Township police said they recently cited Christopher Johnson, 25, of Miner Street, Plains Township, with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated and staggering on South Main Street on Jan. 27.
