Special Mass held at St. John the Evangelist

The first-grade religious education class at St. John the Evangelist Church recently marked the end of the liturgical calendar year by celebrating the Mass of Christ the King. One child was chosen to carry the crown of Jesus while the rest of the children processed at the special Mass. The Mass was celebrated by Monsignor John Bendik, pastor, St. John the Evangelist Church. Children who participated, first row, from left, are: Nora Philbin, Olivianna Vanesko, Karamia Marranca, Sarah Connors, Julia Rucco, Olivia Rucco, Joey Jones.
