Students excel at competition

Crestwood students recently presented science and math projects at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) state meeting held at Penn State Main Campus. The students earned 11 First Awards, five Second Awards and two Third Awards. Perfect scores were earned by Jason Cornelius and Danielle Metzger. Steven Waskie was awarded the Pennsylvania Science Teacher Award. Jason Cornelius, Neil Patel and Nikhil Patel all earned scholarships to Penn State. Crestwood Middle School earned nine First Awards and one Second Award. Perfect scores were achieved by Alexandra Ayers, Preston Isreal and Ryan Toporcer.
