The Janiczeks

The Janiczeks recently celebrated the convalidation of their 40th wedding anniversary. Loretta and L. Ronald were married by the late Monsignor Bernard A. Toloczko at Holy Trinity Church (now Saint Faustina's Parish), Nanticoke.

Mrs. Linda Walkowiak, matron of honor, and John Janiczek, best man, witnessed the ceremony.

Mrs. Janiczek, daughter of the late Stella and Stephen Romanowski, graduated from Nanticoke High School and earned her nursing degree from Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a registered nurse at Nanticoke State Hospital.

She has a daughter, Linda Walkowiak and her husband, David, Dallas, and two granddaughters, Lindsey Sears and her husband, Will, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jaclyn Moser and her husband, Seth, Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Janiczek, son of the late Anna and Leopold Janiczek, graduated from Nanticoke High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Before his retirement he was employed by Liquid Carbonic Corporation of Laurel Run.

He has two sons, John Janiczek and his wife, Lisa, Nanticoke, and Mark Janiczek and his wife, Molly, Villanova. He has five grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeffrey and Nathan Janiczek and Andrew and Alexandra Janiczek.
