Timmy Walsh, creator of TRW Art and nonprofit Camera For A Cure, has now accomplished a feat not many full grown photographers have done. At the age of ten years old, Walsh has now had the opportunity to photograph two American presidents.
Walsh photographed President Barack Obama on November 30, 2011 at the Scranton High School. He has now had the opportunity to not only photograph President Bill Clinton, but he also met the previous president during his recent visit to Scranton High School.
Walsh waited in line on November 5 from 2:13 pm until shortly before the opening of the doors, when he was brought in early by the Secret Service to ensure he had a favorable position to view not only Clinton but the other candidates, as well. Walsh was excited to be able to attend the rally, as he is a big supporter of President Obama. He is looking forward to his 18th birthday so he can cast his own vote in each election.
Walsh ended his night by saying, This is definitely one of the best nights of my life.
Camera For A Cure is a non profit fundraiser started by Timmy Walsh, then 6 yrs old. Walsh takes photographs & sells them with all proceeds going to the Lung Cancer Alliance. Now, at the age of 10, he continues to raise funds for cancer research along with other diseases and causes. He is an Olyphant resident and a student at Wyoming Seminary Lower School.
