The Coaches: Tunkhannock's Rod Azar (2-13, 2nd year); Berwick's George Curry (417-90-5, 43rd year)

Last Meeting: Berwick 35-13 in 2011

All-Time Series: Berwick leads 20-1

Quick Fact: Berwick has won the last 20 meetings, including six via shutout.

Scouting Tunkhannock: The Tigers played much better than expected against a surging Crestwood team last Friday. They led 14-6 at halftime, but a couple big plays turned the momentum and resulted in a 27-20 loss.

QB Brian Beauchemin threw a season-high nine times, completing eight for two touchdowns. The ground game is still looking for its first 100-yard game, but Josh Robinson had 76 and Ryan Cwynski added 66 as Tunkhannock rushed for a season-high 167 yards.

Scouting Berwick: A week after the defense was trampled by Wyoming Valley West, it came back with an excellent performance in a 17-7 victory over Selinsgrove. The Dawgs surrendered season lows of 53 yards on the ground and 95 of total offense. They also recorded a season-high five turnovers.

On offense, the passing game struggled for a second consecutive week. However, the running game got back on track with RB Matt Cashman gaining 137, his fourth 100-yard game of the season.

What To Expect: Tunkhannock's Wing-T might give Berwick some troubles early, but once the Dawgs adjust they should win by a comfortable margin.
