Two District 2 playoff games postponed

The storm coming through the region gave District 2 its first postponements in its basketball tournaments.

Wayne Highlands School District canceled all after-school activities, meaning Honesdale cannot play its boys basketball game at Tunkhannock tonight.
No. 9 seed Honesdale (14-8) will play at No. 8 seed Tunkhannock (8-13) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the Class 3A brackets.

In the girls Class 2A bracket, No. 9 Mountain View (5-16) at No. 8 Lakeland (13-9) has been moved to Wednesday at 7 p.m.

As of 4 p.m., all other high school games scheduled for Tuesday were still on.
