University Health event promotes prevention

Penn State Wilkes-Barre recently held a two-part University Health program focused on sexual and domestic violence and acute alcohol poisoning and prevention. Gallon jugs representing the amount of beer ingested annually by college-aged students were displayed. At the event, from left: Jacqueline Warnick-Piatt, student activities coordinator, PSWB; Deborah Clark, trauma educator outreach coordinator, Geisinger Health System; Brent Shaffer Parry, trauma prevention outreach coordinator, Geisinger Health System; Brian Romans, paramedic trauma outreach, Geisinger Health System; and Suzanne Attanasio, campus nurse, PSWB.
