Walsh, Gawlas

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen J. Gawlas, Hanover Township, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Marie, to Colin James Walsh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Walsh, Northampton.

Stephanie is the granddaughter of Theresa Gawlas, Wilkes-Barre; the late Robert N. Gawlas Sr.; Helen Amendola, Wilkes-Barre; and the late Joseph F. Amendola.

Colin is the grandson of the late Charles T. Walsh and Helen P. Walsh, Whitehall, and the late Bruce D. Royer and Gisella Royer Herman, Coplay.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 2011 graduate of King's College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. She is employed by Loudoun County, Va., as a first-grade teacher.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and a 2011 graduate of King's College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He is employed by Catapult Consultants, Arlington, Va.

The couple will exchange vows on July 6, 2013, at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre.
