The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for all of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania from 7 p.m. tonight to 7 a.m. Friday morning.

Winds are expected to increase to 15-30 miles per hour with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour, particularly in higher elevations.

The strongest winds are expected overnight from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
